The City of Delta is pleased to announce that Mayor and Council have appointed Donny van Dyk as the new City Manager. For the past five years, Mr. van Dyk was the City Manager at the City of Penticton. Van Dyk will begin his tenure at the City of Delta on September 18, 2023.

The City of Delta is thrilled to announce the early completion of the highly anticipated synthetic turf field and lights replacement project at North Delta Community Park; another project delivered to enhance recreational opportunities for year-round outdoor sports in our community.

Hunting season in the City of Delta is open as of September 2, 2023. The main season will run until January 19, 2024, with seasons for some species open all the way to March 10, 2024. Provincial and federal regulations allow hunting one half hour before sunrise until one half hour after sunset.
